Films, Deconstructed Has Moved to Its Own Domain :-)

After many wonderful years posting this blog at WordPress.com, I finally decided to take the plunge and move the whole kit’n’kaboodle to my very own, self-hosted website. There’s no reason why I did this other than the fact that I already have a web host for a different site, and it didn’t make sense to upgrade at WordPress.com when I could’ve just moved to my current host.

As of now, I’m still working out some of the kinks during the transfer, but hopefully, they’ll be ironed out within a week or two. One issue is how to bring back two features for readers–the ability to get notified of new posts, as well as to sign up as part of the community. I’m still trying to figure this all out right now as we speak, so please bear with me. If worse comes to worse, readers may have to sign up again, but we’ll see.

In any event, update your bookmarks and spread the word that Films, Deconstructed is now www.filmsdeconstructed.com!

P.S. Special thanks to both WordPress.com for still having the best blogging platform on the web (boo, Blogger! boo! hiss!), and allowing deadbeats like me to write freely. 🙂
